Scrapbooking Junkie!

I have turned my 10 yr. old grandaughter, Lily into a scrapbooking Junkie! She is holding up one of the packs of paper that she got tonight at Big Lots. This one she just had to have!

Paper, Paper and more Paper!

My Grandaughter and I went to Big Lots tonight to see if we could find some ' Thickers'. We didn't find very many, but we hit the mother load on some great paper!

On this scrapbook LO I used old olive for mats under my pictures I also used it to stamp A TEAM. on this LO I used bermuda bay and crushed curry ribbon by Stampin Up. I also used bermuda bay cardstock under crushed curry cardstock for my journaling.

I used sizzix die and cut out the birthday cake with the Big Kick. The stamp is from Stampin Up stamp set 'Party Hearty'. Stamped with inkpad ' Tangerine Tango' from Stampin Up. Ribbon is Tangerine Tango from Stampin Up.

SPCC Challenge #7 entry

Challenge #7: This is a note card. I used Bermuda Bay cardstock by Stampin Up as my background. The ink around the outside of the white and also the stamped leaves and stems are done in Old Olive by Stampin Up. I didn't have Bermuda Bay ink so I used Tempting Turqoius by Stampin Up. I didn't have summer sun so I used YoYo Yellow by Stampin Up. Ribbon is from Walmart!

Going to try to improve!

I have been noticing that the photos that I take could be better. So....... i am going to make an effort to 1. Get to know your camera. 2. Find that perfect spot to take your project photo. ( for example... light, background, etc). 3. Last, but not least ( I got this idea from another girls blog the other day) take a picture of the day everyday! So, these are my goals........ wish me luck! I will keep you posted on my progress!
